If you love holiday lights and rides, Six Flags is in the midst of their Holiday in the Park where this amusement park is transformed with thousands of lights, tree lighting, special holiday events, cocoa, and more!
Local Things to Do in Cobb County
Cobb Energy Center : Easy to get to using local roads, I-75 and I-285, easy to park, affordable, family friendly, and intimate theaters mean every seat is a good seat, the Cobb Energy Center always has wonderful concerts, musicals, and shows worth getting tickets to. A fan of Dancing with the Stars or know someone who is? Get tickets for the New Year’s Eve show “Dance All Night Tour” from 8 to 9:30 pm then go celebrate by dancing the New Year!
Kennesaw State University has lots of fun activities they have open to the community. Love music? There is still time to get tickets to the Friday, December 18th concert from 8 to 10 pm of “Atlanta Symphony Orchestra: A Very Merry Holiday Pops” at the Bailey Performance Center, Morgan Concert Hall. This is a great way to have a Date Night with your special someone!
Marietta Square There are so many things to do in the square all year round. It’s easy to park, very affordable, and extremely family friendly.

Be sure to visit the First Time outdoor ice skating rink Marietta Square Winter Wonderland open until January 3, 2016. Tickets are just $12 and includes both ice time AND rentals.

Santa & Mrs Claus will be taking photos with friends from 10am to 6 pm on Saturday while helping with Toys for Tots on Saturday from 10am to 1 so be sure to bring a new, unwrapped gift to give back in the spirit of the season. Santa will be back on Sunday from 11am to 5pm.

Come celebrate the beauty and spirit of the season, nightly at 6pm by ending your evening at Hobgood Park in Woodstock until December 22 for Holiday Lights of Hope with 1,000,000 LED lights . This hometown community tradition benefits the Anna Crawford Children’s Center. There is holiday shopping, inflatables for kids, games, concessions, and more. Free for those 14 years and younger, only $10 for those 15 years +.
Things to Do in Paulding County
