Merry Christmas Eve!

Time goes by so quickly, it seems as though I was just cleaning up from Christmas, and here it is again. A truly busy time of year.  A lot of last minute shopping will happen today. People will fight the crowds at Town Center Mall, the shops all along Barrett Parkway and the shops just off Barrett. Crowds will drive all over to get that last minute gift for tonight’s party or the last few items on a wish list or a few things for Christmas or Christmas Eve dinner.Logan w Santa meet greet The Ave Dec 2015

One popular place to shop is Avenue West Cobb on Dallas Highway in Marietta. Our Avenue is a little different than some of the others, like the Avenue East Cobb on Roswell Road, in that it actually has two malls in one. The original section was built with Barnes and Noble, Famous Footwear, Claire’s Boutique, American Eagle, Ted’s Montana Grill, Aspen’s Steak House, Theo’s Brother’s Bakery, Talbot’s and more but then, because of the immense popularity, the developer’s added on another section that added Eddie Bauer, The Gap, Panera Bread, and other popular shops.

With ample parking, several entrances and exits, traffic lights, and room to maneuver, Avenue West Cobb is set up for plenty of shopping.

The Avenue has the A-list club you can sign up for at The Avenue or online. This gives you notifications of monthly specials – special coupons, discounts, and the activities (and there are plenty) at our Avenue West Cobb. Every holiday season has carriage rides, meet & greets with Santa (Look at this photo a friend sent me of her kids who did just that!), his elves, and his reindeer, and so much more. Throughout the year, Avenue West Cobb hosts craft days for kids from 3 years in age and up, has water carts for when it gets really hot while shopping, and various special events.

With plenty of benches on the sidewalks, covered tables & seating at Barnes and Noble, and 2 water fountains that are active from late winter until late fall, for those who just want to stroll, window shop, or got pulled along unwillingly!! there is ample locations to sit and relax. Grab a latte at the Barnes and Noble Starbucks then sit outside to relax, people watch, meet a friend, or read a book you bought.

Across the street are more shops, restaurants, and grocery shopping. You can get everything done in just 2 quick stops. Coming in 2016 just up at the next light past the Avenue will be the healthy foods grocery stores, Sprouts. You’ll have even more reason to visit Avenue West Cobb in Marietta.
